ORLANDO, Fla. —Starting this week, drivers in Florida could get a ticket for texting while driving.The law starts Tuesday.Drivers can still talk on the phone, but they will no longer be able to type on the phone.Drivers will also be allowed to text while stopped at a red light — the law only applies when the car is moving.www.respondersafety.com

Daughter of firefighter gets a special night:

The daugther of a local firefighter who died late last year had been planning for months to see Blake Shelton with her father on Friday. But after his untimely death, McKenna Jansen was considering not going. That is until she got the surprise of a lifetime. Timothy Jansen, 45, died after being struck by a fire truck while working to control a house fire in Bartelso, Illinois in December. Authorities said Jansen was pulling hoses off a fire truck when he slipped and the truck struck him.
